Learn How Claims Professionals Actually Structure Claims
Most people entering construction claims are not short of technical knowledge.
The problem is knowing how to structure entitlement, evidence, time and cost into a clear, defensible position.
ClaimsClub.com teaches the repeatable order of work behind clear claims, rebuttals and dispute positions.
You learn what to do first, what to do next, and how to organise entitlement, evidence, time and cost into a structured position you can explain, support and defend.
The Problem
Why Capable Professionals Still Struggle With Claims
Most people moving into claims are not short of technical knowledge. They have read contracts, studied theory and understand project detail.
The difficulty is knowing how to turn entitlement, evidence, time and cost into a clear, defensible position under pressure.
The Struggle
- Where to start
- What to do next
- How to separate facts, entitlement, causation, time and quantum
- How to organise evidence without overstating it
- How to keep the position consistent
- How to deal with gaps in the records
- How to avoid drafting before the analysis is ready
What Happens Without Structure
- Drafts become reactive
- Entitlement, causation, time and quantum become mixed together
- Evidence gaps are not controlled
- Positions change as the work develops
- Rework increases
- Client updates become harder to give confidently
Want a clearer structure for claims work?
ClaimsClub.com helps you move from theory and reactive drafting to a repeatable claims practice framework.
Origin
Why ClaimsClub Exists
Before founding ICRS Consult and creating ClaimsClub.com, Matthew Greenhalgh worked as a Quantity Surveyor on the commercial side of construction projects.
His work involved valuations, variations, subcontract administration and cost control.
That background gave him strong commercial and project experience.
But claims work required something more specific: a repeatable order of work for turning entitlement, evidence, time and cost into a clear contractual claims position.
Further contract study has value, but it does not automatically show you how to prepare, structure and defend a claim in practice.
ClaimsClub.com was created to close that gap. It helps construction professionals move from reacting to information to building structured claims positions they can explain, support and defend.
What It Teaches
Claims Practice Frameworks
Claims Practice Frameworks give you a repeatable sequence for building claims, rebuttals and position notes.
The sequence starts with facts, then moves to entitlement, causation, time impact, productivity impact and quantum, with each stage tied back to evidence.
The focus
- Order of work
- Entitlement analysis
- Evidence assessment
- Delay and causation analysis
- Quantum and cost linkage
- Contractual positioning
- Rebuttal structure
- Consistent drafting methodology
Stop reacting to information
Claims work becomes difficult when you start drafting before the evidence, entitlement, causation, time and cost analysis have been worked through.
- Establish the factual and evidential base
- Determine contractual entitlement
- Review notices, time bars and conditions precedent
- Test causation
- Analyse time or productivity impacts
- Quantify cost effects
- Tie the position back to evidence and analysis
Actual Practice
Built For Actual Claims Work
Claims commissions rarely start with complete and consistent project records.
You may be dealing with multiple heads of claim, competing narratives, incomplete project records, inconsistent evidence, time pressure and client questions that need clear answers.
ClaimsClub.com frameworks are designed to help you keep the work controlled.
They help when the project records are incomplete, the narrative is contested and the deadline pressure is high.
- Separate different types of analysis
- Identify what must be proved or defended
- Work in the right order
- Make evidence traceable
- Control gaps and assumptions
- Keep the position consistent across the claim
- Progress the work without guessing or overstating the evidence
