The Founder

About Matthew Greenhalgh

Matthew Greenhalgh is the founder of ICRS Consult and a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with more than 30 years' experience across the UK, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

He has been appointed as a quantum expert in arbitration, litigation and adjudication proceedings and has acted as an expert witness on quantity surveying matters relating to professional negligence.

Matthew has extensive experience across construction claims and disputes, including commercial and contract management, claim preparation and defence, adjudication support, quantum assessment, and delay and disruption matters. The work spans projects procured under JCT, NEC and FIDIC contracts.

Today his focus is supporting subcontractors with commercial protection, payment recovery, adjudication representation and expert reports.

His approach is practical, clear and commercially focused. He helps clients understand their position, organise the evidence and identify the right next step.
